The event was well attended with CPB sending in a bus with workers from Reedy Creek. The men made a b-line for the Fishing and Lure’s stall and the crew seemed to enjoy their night out in Yuleba. The event included a Mutli-Draw Raffle and other raffles which were held on the night, including Hams, a huge Meat Tray and a fantastic Fruit and Veg Tray. There was also a (Horse) Poo Lotto, the proceeds of which went to the Bendemere Pony Club. Santa popped in for a visit, so did a brief storm which brought wild wind and dust rather than rain but it all added to the excitement of the night. Yuleba is now the smallest school in the district with a very small but active and motivated, P&C. All the assistance the P&C was given for the event and raffle fundraisers is very much appreciated. Especially in these tough, dry times they appreciate the sponsorship they received and those who came and made the event so successful. The Yuleba State School P&C Association would like to thank their volunteers, Bek (Principal) and Ben Boldorac, Yuleba State School Staff and most of all, the generous sponsors who made it all possible: PHN Western Queensland, CPB, Bakearoma, Qld Country Meats, Golders, Crawfo's Tyres, Yuleba Roadhouse, Woolworths Roma, Kimlin's Camping World, Taylors Parts Centre, Coomber Bros, Bessie's Ice Cream Bus, Brenorrs, Elvine Studios, Yuleba General Store, Office Choice, Toyworld, Wallumbilla Pharmacy, Gretel Lane, Gorgeous, Newrybar Rugs, BB's Arty Farty's, Mitre 10.
