When did the love of music begin?
The love of music was there inside of me ever since the age of 5 years when i remember. There was a time where i saw a newspaper advert, i think it was " Game " advertising Keyboard an instrument and i asked my mother to buy it for me, she just laughed and agreed because she thought it was just a kid fantasy talking. I was a professional cyclist, one day coming back from training going to visit my friend Oupa Maluleke who i cycled with, saw a guitar on top his his bed and i asked who it belonged to then he said it was his brother ' s " Matimba Maluleke ", then i asked him to teach me, indeed he did so. In 3 weeks ' time i knew how to play Chords, i practiced for 12hours straight, every chance i got i used it to play. One time i played until my hands couldn ' t even hold a cup that was empty, i felt like the cup was too heavy, fingers had cuts as if they were cut by razor, you know what they say " No pain, no gain ".
You know how to play many musical instruments but you well known for your Guitar Skills. Why a Guitar among the others?

THEGUITARIST be heard and indeed that happen. You did cover songs for international artists, how did you reach that stage? I once set down with myself and ask what is it that would make me stand out and make me different from Millions of South African Guitarist, and i said it is to do what they find difficult, which is to play more than 50 notes and those are covers, singing by string. So i guess its by putting your mind set in it and always try to not be ordinary or else people will forget you as if you never existed, thats the sad part about it.

The music industry is challenging at some point but how did you manage to overcome challenges that you meet along the journey? The answer is simple to that, its Jehovah. I use all my difficulties and struggles to become a better musician. Struggles and difficulty pushes me to become a greater musician. But i repeat again it is through by Jehovah and Lord Jesus.
You have 2 singles that are out and playing in National radios, how are they doing? I have Aluta which was discovered by uMhlobo Wenene Fm then after that by YFM. in 3 weeks of its radio release it got in to the biggest and hottest house music show called Hot 99 on dance and on its first week it was number 6 being with Black Motion, Prince Kaybee DJ Soso. it ended up on the 3rd position after 6weeks of it being in the show. The 2nd one is called Uzobuya which i did with Supta DJ and Shockwave, the track is doing very well, it got play listed in more than 6 stations( Yfm, Kovie fm, CUTFM) in SA and it also got playlisted in 2 countries Lesotho and Botswana. Uzobuya got 6K views on Youtube in 3 weeks without an Official music video. Tracks are doing well. Aluta is on free download and on iTunes and Uzobuya is only on free download. Then i have Sophia Town that i did with Rabs Vhafuwi which is on his latest Album called " Hear Me Now " which is doing very well on Metro FM that ' s one of the biggest radio station in South Africa.
Your latest song " Story of my life " what is the song about? Story of My Life is about a woman i once fell in love with when i was 21 years of age, she broke my heart, cheated on me and dumped. Now i thought to myself that i needed to make a song that will be a sad song but at the same time be a dance song. I needed to spread a message of that not in every relationship that everyone who gets cheated on and gets dumped has a sad story but look at the brighter sight a good might come out if you allow to and not sulk, i used my situation to create one of the most heavenly created tracks ever to be produced and i am also proud to say so. I fear the day that it reaches the ears that it is meant to because it ' s gonna be GLOBAL.
Through your music, what kind of a message are you sending out there?
I am a spiritual being, which means i talk to souls through my music i create, i make music through my situations and stories. The message that i am sending is Love & Peace, people need to give back their talents to the creator Jehovah who gave them, any talent it doesn ' t matter, that is the best thing one could do for him.
What kind of feedback from your fans? So far i have the best feedback ever sometimes i even think that maybe these people are / were paid to say these nice things and buy my music on iTunes hahahaha! But truth is that it ' s real, they love my work and i appreciate it. Though some want to take advantage of my kindness.
What inspires who music? What inspires my music is my situation around me which is my mother, brother " Dikana " who is my best adviser ever, family and my best friend Aubrey Ngcobo who believed in my dream before it even began and today its reality. There is so much to tell and i will even die without even telling half of it through music. I have a special song for my mother which i named it by her name " Nomarashiya ", a special one for my brother which i named it " Brothers of love " and a special for my friend which i named it " Best Friends ". Best music and inspiration comes out from the things around you!
