Pro Bono
At Blank Rome, pro bono service is part of who we are. Over the past year, our attorneys and paralegals applied their time, skills, and compassion on behalf of individuals and communities facing some of life’ s most difficult circumstances. From responding to natural disasters and protecting voting rights, to securing legal status for refugees and asylum seekers, advocating for veterans, and helping individuals access a second chance, our colleagues stepped forward time and time again with purpose and care.
The stories ahead reflect both the breadth of our pro bono practice and the depth of our commitment. Our colleagues took on long-term immigration matters that demanded years of patience, disasterrecovery efforts requiring swift and creative action, and clinics designed to meet immediate legal needs in our communities. Each of these matters called for persistence, creativity, and empathy, and our teams delivered, often forming lasting relationships with the individuals and families they served. Just as important, our partnerships with legal aid organizations, corporate clients, and community groups helped us reach further and serve more people than we could on our own.
We are deeply proud of the extraordinary dedication reflected in these pages and grateful to every attorney and paralegal who made it possible. Their dedication reminds us why we chose this profession in the first place: to stand up for what is right and to ensure that justice is not just a privilege, but a promise we keep. As we look ahead, we remain committed to that promise and to ensuring that pro bono service continues to be a defining part of Blank Rome’ s culture.
