In Custer, Rocky Knolls Golf Course is a ninehole, 3,112yard par 36 golf course nestled among rocks and ponderosa pine trees. In Hot Springs, Southern Hills Municipal Golf Course is an awardwinning 18hole, 5,905yard par 70 course that has consistently been voted one of Golf Digest’ s best courses in the U. S. The course has a rating of 69.6 and a slope of 131. It also has a putting green and a driving range. Golf courses are also found in Spearfish, Lead, Belle Fourche and Sturgis.
