Thoroughbred Breeders Association
I rode both as an Amateur and as an Apprentice before joining trainer Emma Lavelle ’ s team in Marlborough , where I stayed for three seasons . Alongside this I have had brief stints trackwork riding in Australia and as a racing groom in Ireland . Latterly I have been working in a breaking and pre-training yard , whilst I also act as Point-to-Point Secretary for the Tedworth Hunt .
Having grown up around it , I have always been passionate about Horse Racing . By taking part in the Development Programme , my aim is to expand my skill set and broaden my knowledge of the industry as a whole . Primarily my career aspirations lie within bloodstock , and I believe this scheme will give me a greater insight into that sector , allowing me to establish new connections , and hopefully progress within the industry , so that I might one day help shape its future .

Racecourse Association
I have just completed a degree studying Business and Management at the University of Reading . Racing has always been a huge part of my life , with my parents training point to pointers and myself competing as an amateur jockey , both in point to points and under rules , enabling me to have a good understanding of how the industry operates . But I am very excited to have the opportunity on this course to explore from a business perspective how race meetings are organised and gain a deeper insight into how fixtures , like Cheltenham and Aintree , are able to be so captivating . Hopefully I can apply my combined passion for the sport with knowledge from relevant work experience and my degree within the programme . My career ambitions for the future no doubt include racing . I hope to continue as a jockey , but more particularly , I would love to become involved in the organisational side of the industry , such as race planning , marketing , and racecourse management
