Having just finished my degree in Sports , Exercise and Health Sciences , I ’ m ecstatic to be joining the British Horseracing Development Programme . My passion for horse racing first derived from attending the Happy Valley races with my friends where we ’ d enjoy a night of music , entertainment and most importantly racing . I applied for this programme to both immerse myself in the background of horse racing and build a strong foundation with essential skills .
I ’ m looking forward to the hands-on experience and to meet and learn from leading experts in their respective roles in the sport . I ’ m eager to understand how the different sectors in the industry all link together to provide such successful events and how innovative technologies help shape the future of this field .
My ambitions for the future are to be in an established role at a high-level sport where I ’ m both excited about my daily work and I know it is something I can continue to do for a long time . My goal is to bring my knowledge and background of all sports to horse racing and continue its growth across the world .

I ’ m an equine enthusiast and passionate about horses ever since I was born . I always wanted to establish my career path in the equine industry and I have been intrigued by the fact that the racing industry and race horses are the most exciting but also challenging to start as a career path . Since 2019 I have worked at a few places which directly involve with racing or horses after doing a 12-week course with the National Horseracing College . I have applied for the Development Programme to take my career path into the next level . This programme will help me to improve my skills to overcome new challenges in the workplace , as well as develop my administration skills by getting the opportunity to learn how to do admin work .
