The results indicated that first grade students who watched 50% or more At Home Kahoot videos did show significant growth between the winter and spring iReady reading assessment during the 2017-2018 school year at Slate Ridge Elementary School? All nine of the ELL students watched 50% or more videos and showed significant growth over the target growth of +46. The average ELL student growth for my class was +80. The lowest ELL growth was +52 and the highest ELL growth was +113. Three non-ELL students also watched 50% or more videos and showed significant growth. The average growth of all students who watched 50% or more videos was +89.6 and the average growth of all students who did not watch 50% or more videos was +72.7.

For the upcoming school year the action plan will include creating more Kahoot videos to span over the entire school year with the support of the ELL team. We will also look into other resources that will bridge the gap between home and school. I will continue to track the success of students using At Home Kahoot videos to compare results for my personal classroom.
