Facilities Task Force Formed
Charged with providing due diligence and oversight of the building and
renovating processes at both campuses, a Facilities Task Force has been formed
and is up and running. We are delighted that lay members Sandy Whisler, Matt
Haakenstad, Iver Iverson, and Paul Steen have agreed to serve, along with staff
Chris Nelson, Ben Cieslik, Bob Wertz, and Bryan Wheeler. Joining them will
be Bethlehem’s owner’s representative, Chelsea Waters and Steve Nulsen of
Watershed Partners.

Vanman Architects have been contracted to provide a site plan which will
identify 3-4 building and renovating options with pros and cons for each.
This work should be completed within the next 60 days.
A contract has been signed with a roofing company to do patch work on the
sanctuary roof.
A contract has been signed to remove the carpeting and do abatement work
in the Activity Room.
A contract will soon be signed to install air conditioning in the sanctuary.
