look at the life and works of Charles Dickens, using scenes from the author’ s writing and blending humor and emotion to bring his persona to life. A matinee performance will be held at 2 p. m., followed by tea service. An evening performance is scheduled for 7 p. m. Ventfort Hall will host its second annual Masquerade Macabre on Saturday, October 25, from 6 to 10 p. m. The 21-and-over formal masquerade ball celebrates the mansion’ s storied— and supposedly haunted— history with an evening of music, dancing, drinks and other dark-themed festivities. The event serves as a fundraiser for Ventfort Hall’ s preservation efforts and encourages guests to embrace the venue’ s spectral charm.

Adams Theater’ s fall lineup includes music, puppetry, dance theater, comedy and cinema.
