Ok, now that we have talked about the most important way to deal with people in both worlds, virtual and in real-life situations with RESPECT ALL as the main rule, let us talk a bit about the importance of PHYSICAL TOUCH!
PHYSICAL TOUCH can make or break a friendship or relationship and can communicate hate or love as in hugging or hitting someone. Physical Touch may not be so physical in a virtual world using an avatar to represent you but our eyes can see the action and many of us become very judgmental by what we see.
Almost instinctively in a time of crisis, we hug each other simply because of the act of hugging and because physical touch is a powerful way to communicate with anyone you know and/or care for. Either in a virtual world or in real life situations, go ahead and HUG that person you like that may or may not be in a crisis situation but merely because you want to show you care and that they just may need that "Physical Touch."
