HIGHLIGHTS A TABLE BIG ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE Shortly before the summer, Mrs. Nussbaum’s sixth grade students collaborated on constructing a detailed mural of the periodic table of elements. It extended nearly from floor-to-ceiling and was displayed prominently in the ground floor hallway of the Yeshiva. Grant from Legacy Heritage Fund Supports Vocational Center NEW BUNKHOUSES AT CAMP WILL HOUSE 80 Construction on two new bunk houses commenced in September on the grounds of the Yeshiva’s summer home, Camp Oraysa, in upstate Sullivan County. The new structures will enable the camp to welcome 80 additional bachurim next summer for a month of spiritual and physical growth and renewal. 14 BEDARCHEI HATORAH WINTER 5780/2020 The Yeshiva’s acclaimed Weiss Vocational Center is fortunate to be the recipient of a generous grant from Legacy Heritage Fund. The four-year grant is already making an impact at the Center, enabling it to better serve its students, select Mesivta talmidim who spend a portion of each afternoon training in fields such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical construction, heating and air conditioning, and low-voltage wiring.
