DAVID REIGNS SUPREME
Reigning male icon David Beckham held onto the top spot
as male celebrity style inspiration for the fifth year in a row,
with 39% of the vote. His look is most coveted by men in
the East Midlands. The release of the latest James Bond film
‘Spectre’ has also propelled Daniel Craig into third place.
JURASSIC TREND SHAKES UP
BEARD GROOMING IN 2016
Beards are still big, and the UK’s professional barbers
predict that the hipster beard will remain the most
popular look in 2016 – spilling out from East London
to across the UK.
This is closely followed by a new beard trend that sprung
from the release of the new Jurassic Park movie last
summer. The ‘Jurassic’ beard, so called because of the
grown-out beard Chris Pratt wore during the film, has
become a firm favourite. Other 2016 trends will include
the Aquaman and Colbeard.

“Despite male grooming figures
showing that men are going for shave
treatments more regularly than previous
years, the beard remains a strong look
in 2016. Increasingly, we are certainly
seeing more of our bearded clients
opt for smaller, neater styles. However
strong, full shapes are still a priority
for many gents.”
