Professionals also predict that women in the UK will continue to covet the two tone look in 2016, using ‘feather lights’ to blend highlights across various tones for a softer, more subtle look. CAROLINE FLACK 5 10 20 25 % OF VOTE “This year’s leading celebrity female hair and beauty icons show that Britain’s style is as varied as ever. In 2016, our favourite looks are not just home grown, but come from across the pond and beyond. This points to us seeing a year of increasingly divergent trends, as the UK’s women continue to draw inspiration from an ever-widening range of sources. With all this choice, Britain’s women are becoming bolder in their styles – something that is reflected in the comeback of the fringe this year.” Errol Douglas MBE London 16 15
