The performance center will also hold dance practice space for drill team , cheer , and the auxiliary line that will also serve as banquet space for the district and community . There will also be a health science addition that will include 2 classrooms / labs that would replace current portable buildings at the high school .
“ We will have a beautiful practice space , a locker room and a larger stage for our productions ,” drill team coach Morgan Marquess said . “ We will also have a space to practice with mirrors that will help the team to clean routines , resulting in fabulous performances ! I am most excited for a big , beautiful stage !”
The center will also include an agriculture renovation of the current storage area into classroom space , addition of a multipurpose / wet lab space , and addition of storage area . The bond will add a large lab space that can be washed down to accommodate things like organ labs and live animal labs . They will also add a small animal grooming station to help provide labs for Small animal management classes and Vet classes .
“ I personally am most excited about our small animal grooming station because it gives us room to grow and expand our Veterinary science classes and provide more certification areas for our students ,” Ag . teacher Jordan Bien said . “ I teach a majority of the Animal science courses , so the additions made to the bond will make a huge impact on our ability to teach students through hands-on learning . I would like to say thank you to the community for passing the bond and giving us the space needed to educate your students to the level they need and deserve . I would also like to thank our administration for allowing us to be such a vital part of the planning process and listening to the areas of need and making necessary changes to the bond based on those needs .”
The bond is also working on resurfacing the track , field track , and related field event improvements .
“ The track needed to be resurfaced because the track had worn down to the concrete making it unsafe ,” Athletic Director Lance Connot said . “ I am unsure of the last time it
Before construction begins , a soil-testing company came to test the ground quality of the practice field , and determined its fitness for construction on top of it .
