Investigators
Trudy Widjaja, Year 5
Year 5 students were shivering, and as Ritisha shrieked,
Wilson made spooky noises.
Year 5s just witnessed a murder scene. Suhana used the
computer's mouse to direct the arrow to go closer to the
dead man. They clicked the dead man's hand. Students
discovered that he was holding something but could not
find out what it was.
Mr Matthew revealed our new Investigator IPC Theme
with the mystery murder computer game known as
Mountain Crime Requital. The point of the game is to find
out who killed the man and find out the real motive behind
the murder.
Mr Matthew's target lesson for students is to aim for
understanding in how detectives work in the real life to
solve a mystery. He carefully observed how well students
were working in teams. How students respect each
other’s opinion is his main concern. Moreover, he required
each person to contribute the same amount of effort with
no one left out. He and Ms Anna enjoyed looking at each
team's creativity in solving a problem.
