Step Up To Dance!

The students, staff, and parent’s eyes were glued to the stage in Beacon Academy’s Senior School Library,
where students performed dances at the first Step Up To Dance event.
The Step Up To Dance organisers worked very arduously to prepare this event. The dancers worked
equally hard organising and performing their steps that entertained the audience. All the dances were
unique, delighting the audience in different ways. The genre of the music varied through every dance. The
students of Beacon Academy presented their capabilities through their choreography and dance skill.
At the commencement of the Step Up to Dance event the host, Mr.Adit, the staff that organised the Step
Up To Dance event, and the dancers that participated in Step Up To Dance got staff, parents, and students
engaged in the group performance of the 2014 World Cup song “We Are One”.
“The colourful costumes, the exciting music, and the amazing choreography makes this a show to
remember,” said a grinning Zubin Amar, as a he walked back from the Senior Library saying to himself
Beacon has got a large share of talent.
