Science Expo Michelle Mirchandani, Year 7 th The Science Expo turned out to be a giant success. It was held on Friday, 20 of June 2014. The students showed off their talents in deep thinking, using experiments to convey the great ideas of the future. Years 1-5 participated in this event. Shaurya, a student from Year 7, said, "I think the Science Expo was a great opportunity for students to experiment with different things other than only books. They were all creative, fun and interesting." Tiara, from Year 4 (a student who presented her experiment that day), said, “It was fun presenting our project.” They had all types of projects, from investigating the ways of the world, to creating ones by themselves. Few examples are how electricity works, what type of soap is best used for blowing bubbles, to how to create glowing water. Most of them had great products, while few others ended up in a funny mess. Either way, the students learned something new that day - something that they can hopefully develop in the future. From the looks on the students’ and parents’ faces, everyone had loads of fun that day. Video 10
