Dr. Lisa M. Tait is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Upon matriculating through the Baltimore City Public School System, she was admitted to Howard University in Washington, D.C. at the age of sixteen. Immediately upon receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she furthered her education at the American University in Washington, D.C. where she obtained her Master of Arts degree in General Psychology. Shortly after beginning work on her Ph.D. degree in Personality Psychology at Howard University, she received the “call to ministry” and has consequently completed the Master of Divinity and the Doctor of Ministry degrees at the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Tait has worked untiringly in the fields of education, counseling, ministry, and social service (www.DrTait.com). She currently serves as CEO & Practice Owner of LMT Enterprises, LLC (www.lmt-enterprises.com), and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Additionally she serves as Team Leader of the Substance Abuse Treatment Team at Proactive Management Consultants, LLC in Atlanta, GA (www.proactive-management.com). She is the author of Countdown 2 College: A Parent/Student Action Guide to Getting Into the College of Your Choice, Women of Destiny and contributor to Those Preaching Women: A Multicultural Collection. She’s served as a columnist with Gospel Today Magazine and Gospel Tribune Atlanta where she addressed a myriad of relationships issues.
She has served as a co-host and/or guest on Praise 102.5 FM (Radio One, Atlanta) with Rhodell Lewis on Relationship Thursday, Ryan Cameron on V-103 (CBS Radio, Atlanta), Corey “CoCo Brother” Condrey on Relationship Wednesday (Syndication One), Morgan Dukes (Sheridan Gospel Network), Lorraine Jacques White on PowerTalk WAOK and Joyce Littel’s Love and Relationship Show also on V-103.
