Ensuring a Healthy Future
Thanks to our partners, young culinary students will learn the fundamentals
of wellness, develop a holistic view of fresh produce and harness the
healthiest farm-to-table recipes.
McEnroe Organic Education Program
Young culinary professionals learned about sustainable methods of food
production and acquired hands-on experience in organic farm methods
via a day trip to McEnroe Organic Farm. Students participated in the farm
operations tour, on-gardening activities, and the use of products from the
farm to kitchen.
GrowNYC
BCAGlobal formed a volunteer coalition to build a collaborative network
with farmer’s markets in local communities. This offered culinary students
the opportunity to practice their culinary skills with professional chefs to
promote the community farmer’s market nutritional value.
