A Problem Shared is a Problem Havled
Designer : Samantha Theakstone Company : Samantha Jane Decor
The border design is a space for sharing problems and thoughts , surrounded by nature . The Yin / Yang paving reflects opposing forces , allowing users to sit on the side matching their feelings . The planting helps to symbolise the journey from the dark to light side with deeper tones changing to lighter colours as the users mood lifts . Though split into two , this calming , welcoming area aims to encourage talking and sharing thoughts for better wellbeing and take a moment of peace within the space .

Making Space
Designer : Emma Lindsay Company : WRAGS / WFGA
Every plant in this garden can inspire creativity and be used by an artist . Each plant falls into one of four categories : dye , ink , tool , or material . As an artist and trainee gardener , I draw inspiration from the East Sussex landscape . This border reflects the creative uses of plants and the region ’ s soil types and geology , offering visitors a glimpse into the environment that nurtures the artistic practices of myself and many other gardeners and makers .

Eat the City
Designer : Phoebe Walsh-Gamgee Company : WFGA
“ Eat the City ” is a garden inspired by the urban environment , using permaculture , edible-ornamental , and companion planting ideas to create a beautiful space for the community and wildlife . A neighbourhood , a city , a community , and a garden share the same habits — they must grow . You cannot build a neighbourhood any more than you can build a tree ; you can only create the right conditions , plant the seed , care for it , and wait .

Tête-à-tête
Designer : Nerys Vizard Company : WFGA
An interpretation of a quiet community space where bonding can occur with friends , colleagues , or strangers . A water feature adds calm and muffles conversations . Scented , pollinator-friendly plants provide year-round interest . Sitting on the bench , you can experience mindfulness and tranquillity . This concept evolved during my journey through peri-menopause , rediscovering my love for gardening and focusing on life ’ s important elements .
