Baby Z: FMP 2018 Final Presentation | Page 4

A personal passion of mine is streetwear and I know of many female influencers, celebrities and friends who execute amazing personal streetwear style however I do not feel that we get as much option as boys when it comes to streetwear, sportswear and footwear. There’s a hype but it almost feels as if us women have to jump on the back of the bandwagon, as opposed to having our own. While creating a concept and brand focussed on women’s streetwear, we will be amplifying the voice of young females everywhere. Whether this be through supporting charities which provide girls in LED countries with education, running skateboard classes for girls or sharing inspirational stories, we will give girls a voice- and it will be louder than ever before. Not only do we want to offer girls exclusivity and greatly add to the community of girls in today’society, but we want to make sure that they’re spoilt for choice- meaning that they’re offered the same options that are offered to boys, and much, much more. Although our brand is for girls who like streetwear, we want to make sure that every girl knows that we have open arms and are for everyone. From ballet dancers to mechanics, scientists to fashionistas and doctors to makeup artists, girl’s are providing the world with so much incredible talent and a lot of it goes unnoticed; we want to make girls feel closer to each other, learn from each other and simply appreciate each other, whether they share the same interests or not.
