Northman,T: Bishop Briggs CONCEPT Despite androgynous clothing, gender fluency and cross-dressing finally becoming much more widely-accepted in today’s society, there’s still a couple of things missing; typical girl styles catered for boys and vice versa. With streetwear and ‘hype’ culture booming like never before, it’s clear that this lifestyle and fashion phenomenon has been clean-cut for the boys and female streetwear lovers and enthusiasts have been side-lined at several points throughout this journey. Personally, I feel that the fashion industry has come very far (along with other industries) in terms of voicing equality for all genders, however we still have a long way to go.
