How much will the screening cost me ? The wellness screening is free . It ’ s paid from risk which means it won ’ t impact your savings , day-to-day or other benefits . All tests must be done at the same time to ensure that it is covered as a wellness screening .
What is the Wellness Extender benefit ? The Wellness Extender is available on all our plans , except BonCap and BonStart and offers a set amount of money per family , per year , ( the amount depends on your plan ), which can be used to pay for :
• Extra consultations with a GP
• Biokineticist consultations and treatment
• Dietician consultations and treatment
• Physiotherapist consultations and treatment
• A programme to stop smoking
• X-rays as per formulary
• Blood tests as per formulary These benefits are in addition to your savings and day-to-day benefits , so you get more value for money .
How do I access the Wellness Extender ? Once you have completed a wellness screening , you can access the Wellness Extender benefits . Each adult dependant must complete a wellness screening to access these benefits . However , child dependants under 21 can access the Wellness Extender if one adult dependant has completed the wellness screening .
Please note : All claims for the Wellness Extender will be paid at the Bonitas Rate .

We offer all Bonitas members an HIV test once a year , on all options , which is paid from risk . You can do this test with the other wellness tests .
