As a Bonitas member , you have access to various wellness benefits to help you lead a healthier and happier life . These benefits include a wellness screening as well as the Wellness Extender benefit .
What is a wellness screening ? The wellness screening is made up of carefully selected tests to help you get a clear picture of your health . These tests are the first step in detecting serious chronic conditions such as hypertension , heart disease and diabetes , so that you can take appropriate action to correct them . The screening includes :
• A blood pressure test
• A blood glucose test
• A cholesterol test
• A BMI test
• A waist-to-hip ratio measurement
Who qualifies for the wellness screening ? This benefit is open to all Bonitas members – no matter which plan you are on . Each beneficiary qualifies for one free annual wellness screening at participating pharmacy , biokineticist or Bonitas wellness day .
Where can I do a wellness screening ? Our preferred providers for the wellness screening are Clicks , DisChem , and Pick n Pay pharmacies . You can also complete your wellness screening at a corporate wellness day or participating biokineticist .
