What’s your favourite building in the
entire world?
The one we’re designing next.
It’s Sunday… how do you spend it?
It’s an inexact ritual, but when the sun is shining
it often looks a bit like this: roll out of bed, onto
my bike and down to the Fitzroy pool for a day
of watery pleasure – swim some laps, write
some words, laze with friends, read a book,
splash around, play some chess, eat my lunch,
fall asleep, swim a little more and rebirth myself
into the next week.
You’ve had a late night working
and you need a takeaway… what
do you get?
I rarely work late, though I do sometimes
order takeaway. On one occasion, we
unwittingly placed an order with a pizzeria
in Croatia and didn’t realise until an hour
later when the food hadn’t arrived. ‘What
do you mean you don’t know where Fitzroy
is?!’. Oops. I avoid pizza.
