AWCCI helped me to expand my business and let people to know about it. I am
one of the first members of AWCCI and by participating the exhibitions and Ba-
zaars that they prepared, my company’s products sales increased very much than
before. I and my employees are grateful to AWCCI and its staff.

ndustry week exhibition officially inaugurat-
ed with presence of Dr. Hamidullah Muheb,
the Adviser of Afghanistan National security,
Mr. Abdul Qayum Rahimi Herat Governor, Herat
Chamber of commerce, Herat Chamber of In-
dustry and mines, AWCCI, businesswomen and
investors on Sunday April 21, 2019.
In this exhibition, many companies from differ-
ent sectors participated. 40 businesswomen
exhibited their products such as saffron, dried
fruits and nuts, handicrafts, jewelry, painting
booms, miniature, dairy, food products. This
exhibition was held for 6 days during Industry
week.
Ms. Maryam Jami Ul Ahmadi, Chair of AWCCI-

dustry and commerce for holding this exhibi-
tion and told that businesswomen have ability
to work in different sectors and requested for
assistance from related organization in order
to developing women owned businesses. She
added that business women need for allocation
of big and infrastructure project for work and
produce large and this will be possible through
cooperation of INGOs. During these 14 years
many organizations work for women business-
es but there is not a standard big company for
women in Herat. All business women have small
and medium size companies. Always small pro-
jects allocated for business women.
