Capt Sharon Tambeau (ON PC)
This Commanding Officer brought her extensive experience, gained previously as a successful CO of two large squadrons over eight years, as well as a Regional Cadet Advisor for three years, to the "small market" squadron of 201 Dorchester. Here, she expanded the Squadron, and raised its overall level of proficiency. Just as remarkable, she brought her accomplished all-around capabilities to provide an enhanced experience and well-being for the Cadets of 201. National recognition is well-deserved by Captain Tambeau for her continuum of dedication as a Cadet parent, Civilian Instructor, CIC Officer, Commanding Officer of 80 Squadron Kitchener and 27 Squadron London. Her service to the Air Cadet Program is exemplary; thus, the Air Cadet League of Canada is, in admiration and appreciation, most pleased to award Captain Sharon Tambeau a National Certificate of Recognition.
Capt Christopher Wootton (NL PC)
Captain Chris Wootton has played an invaluable role in developing the cadet music program in Atlantic Canada. He works with all three elements, and he is held in the highest esteem by his peers, superiors and cadets. Furthermore, he has shown exceptional leadership qualities, both as Commanding Officer, and as a senior member of various Cadet Summer Training Centres in Atlantic Canada. Over the past thirty-eight years he has demonstrated his devotion to the principles of the Canadian Cadet Movement.
Stéphane Pellerin (NL CD)
Lieutenant Stéphane Pellerin illustrated his love of music and of the Air Cadet Program by organizing a combined squadron band for the 2019 National Annual General Meeting hosted by the Newfoundland & Labrador Provincial Committee. He recruited band members, created musical arrangements, scheduled months of practice time, and motivated the band to perform at a high standard. The composite band, made up of members from several squadrons, performed beautifully at the AGM. For such a commendable and successful project, the Air Cadet League of Canada is delighted to award Lieutenant Stéphane Pellerin its Certificate of Recognition.
