Objects and Animations (Part 1)

I have had a positive response to an article in a previous issue about my
experiences of using the new video features in PTE (actually, 'positive response'
means that two people told me that they'd read it). So I thought that I would try
doing the same for some less complex parts of the program, starting with some
features of 'Objects and Animations'.
What I won't do is to replicate the online help, which you will need to use to find
the specifics for your particular version of PTE. (Press the F1 key to get access
to the downloadable help file - help files are available for most version since v4.4)
What I plan to do is to show how I've made use of various features when I've
