Update on RPS Distinctions

After the establishment of the RPS Multimedia and Narrative Panel, it was agreed
that following its initial meetings, the panel's recommendations would go forward
to the Distinctions Advisory Board for a final decision, so that the standards could
be established. The second such meeting was held in Bath on May 23rd,
subsequent to the panel meeting in March. This time, the members of the panel
were invited to the DAB meeting and Peter Hayes, Graham Sargeant and I were
there. Unfortunately, Ian Bateman and Keith Brown were unable to attend. The
process which was followed was that after the screening of each sequence, the
panel Chair, John Chamberlin gave a summary of the panel's views
