Shark lost it's Groove
This is the end for music platform, Grooveshark. The legal battle against Universal Music Group was a turning point for the company, and in effect, they have settled to cease company activities and remove all data.
An open-letter from Grooveshark has been released to music fans.
"But despite best of intentions, we made very serious mistakes"
An apology and full details of exactly what will happen is stated. The company then go on to say,
"If you love music and respect the artists, songwriters and everyone else who makes great music possible, use a licensed service that compensates artists and other right holders."
