Hello Troy Hudson! Tell us about yourself.
I am a singer/songwriter and I’ve been singing since I could speak. It’s something that I really enjoy doing and obviously I’m an artist now but hopefully the more you hear, the more intrigued to go to listen to my music.
So that’s how you found your passion, when you were young?
Yeah, my parent’s had me while they were young, they were really into music back then and a lot of family members were rappers and break-dancers or DJs. So music was something that was part of my life growing up as a child.
Which vocalists inspire you vocal techniques?
My influence comes from a lot of music back in the 90s as I was born in the late 80s so I grew up as a child in the 90s so I listened to a lot of artists, influenced from Lauren Hill, Mary J bilge, Aaliyah.. The 90s RnB artists.
How did you get into the career, and you became a part of the girl group?
I first started taking the music seriously from the age of 15. It’s when I started to write, I first started writing to instrumentals from some of the favourite songs that I liked at the time. My next door neighbour Mdot-E actually started to produce and then we started to work together and that’s where it came about and got really serious. I’ve just been growing from the writing. Being in a girl group we got to work with so many different artists as well as producers and writers, and learn and take things from different people. From that I’ve grown in my own way in terms of writing.
