Downfalls to the deck
As with many of the Blue Angel publications (if not all, as all the Oracle decks I own from this publisher have), the cards are cut much smaller than the book, which means that when stored in the box together leaves much space around the card. While this, itself, is not really a reflection on the Oracle deck, I do find it annoying that the cards bounce around in the box and wonder if this may damage the cards over time (although none of my Blue Angel Oracle decks - and I have
at least 5 - have received damage for this reason).
Whilst I find the cards manageable in size, they are difficult to shuffle as they are larger than some other card decks that are available. I tend to shuffle them by mixing them on the table, rather than more traditional shuffling methods. People who have issues with their hands may also find this deck difficult to handle due to the larger size of deck. (This appears to be a standard size with the Blue Angel Oracle Publishing company, however).
Overall, I'd recommend this deck to readers, especially those who are familiar with, and enjoy, Toni Carmine Salerno's work.
