Each card is a representation of one of Yuehui Tang’s paintings, which Toni Carmine Salerno has then created messages and short summaries of this message to print on the card. These messages are easy to connect to, and I find that even without the message on the card, it is easy to come to the same (or similar conclusion).
In the book, Toni Carmine Salerno encourages the reader to use their intuition to also connect to the image themselves, using them as daily guidance and/or affirmation.
What attracted me to the deck?
As stated earlier, the thing that attracted me most to the deck was Yuehui Tang’s artwork. Each image invokes individual emotions when looking at them.
For example the “Prosperity-Freedom” Card has Prosperity – Freedom
an image of a lady that looks like she is happy and floating. It is easy to envision emotions of freedom and relaxation when looking at the card.
The use of colour can also be used to enhance the reading with much vibrancy noted. There is one card, “Flame of Inspiration” which has a ‘fiery’ feel to it and invokes feelings of warmth and passion, with the colour alone.
