Her style is reflected in everyone who comes in the store. Any Buddhist would assume that she was a great student of Zen. People looking into nutrition, and healthy life styles would surely guess she was a tree hugger. Any person coming in for incense or oil would clearly see she was a Wise Sage woman of the Craft. Everyone is welcome and people are drawn to that. One of the neatest things you will find as you enter the store is the lovely aroma of the oils, incense, books, and the love of wisdom in the air. It is truly magical and intoxicating.

I asked her what products and services her store provided. She told me that she carried books, music, tarot decks, oils, jewelry hand crafted by local artists as well as other products. She also has speakers come. There are people who come and perform Tarot Readings, Palmistry, Astrology, as well as Reiki In fact L'Aura is a Reiki master and teacher. I love that it has a real one stop shopping feeling.

I asked her if she ever thought of having another store. She quickly laughed and said NO! She said it took her this long to get this one like she wanted. I asked if she had felt the impact in sales from the box stores and online market place. She said she has. Staying in businesses is difficult for everyone these days but for the smaller businesses it is even more of a struggle.

One of the things that struck me amusing was the Angel Tarot, and the Angel Oracle cards dominated the shelf. She said that they are very popular and she can't keep them on the shelf. People really are drawn to them.
