After she had finished with the shopper we got to sit down and talk. I asked her how long she had been in business. She told me that she had been there for 15 years. She said that she saw an important niche that needed to be filled. She went on to tell me that most of her business came from local people. With U.W.S.P. being right there she gets a good deal of college students as well. I asked her to describe what kind of store she had. She said that she liked to think of it as eclectic. I had to agree. It just encompassed so much more than your average New Age Store.

She told me how she works with local authors and artists when she was considering the merchandise that she carries. I am immediately put at ease as we began to talk. That is one of the nice things about her personality. She is warm, friendly, approachable and disarming. She radiates this sort of Giain Mother Earth energy. When you are in her presence you feel that you are in a wonderful place that is fun, safe and great place to ask questions and explore.
