He/she is unable to develop a relevant critical perspective on the sample oral presentation. NON/PASS <50%   Student displays a limited understanding of the evaluation criteria as taught. He/she offers a basic degree of insight into the strengths and weakness of the sample oral presentation. PASS 50-59%   Student clearly is aware of the evaluation criteria as taught. He/she can accurately apply a number of technical terms as taught and can offer insightful appraisal of the sample oral presentation. CREDIT 60-69%   DISTINCTION Student demonstrates a good grasp of the evaluation criteria as taught. He/she uses technical terms of evaluation confidently, offers insightful appraisal and can suggest possible improvements to the presenter’s techniques. Higher level of expression is also expected at this grade. 70-79% HIGHER DISTINCTION 80-100% Student demonstrates an excellent grasp of the evaluation criteria as taught. For example, the student can name the guiding logic/s the presenter employs as well as the micro presentation techniques the presenters utilizes. The student uses technical terms of evaluation confidently, offers insightful appraisal and can suggest possible improvements to the presenter’s techniques.
