Athletic Department Policies
General Participation
Student participation on an athletic team is considered to be a privilege , and with this privilege comes certain expectations and requirements . All athletes have been given their talents by the Lord and should strive to develop those talents to serve the Lord . Each athlete needs to remember that the spectators , officials , and other players get the chance to see the Lord at work in us as we play . They need to take every opportunity to bring honor to the Lord .
Each athlete becomes a member of a team . Individual goals are exchanged for the goals of the team . Each player has a vital role on the team from the lead scorer to the substitute that replaces him / her . Each needs to find his / her place on the team and fill that role to the fullest .
Codes of Conduct ( parents , spectators , and athletes )
• Treat coaches ( from CCS and other schools ), officials , managers , teammates , opponents , and spectators with utmost respect .
• Accept , absolutely and without quarrel , the final decision of any official . In no way , either by voice , action , or gesture , demonstrate your dissatisfaction with the decisions
