Grass Valley empowering you to create,
control and connect content your way
Grass Valley, a Belden brand, is showcasing
several new and improved solutions across
the content creation and delivery process at
BroadcastAsia2017.
Go to booth 4R2-01 and take your time
to check out these innovations that allow you
to create, control and connect content freely.
n K-Frame V-series — Grass Valley’s
newest, no-compromise, compact produc-
tion switcher frame. At only 3RU, the K-Frame
V-series production switcher fits in locations
with limited space and budget and is an
ideal complement to the GV Korona switcher
panel.
The GV Korona K-Frame V-series systems
are specifically designed for low- and mid-
range broadcast and media applications,
where compromising on performance is
not an option. GV Korona K-Frame V-series
systems are available in two system packages,
starting at 16x8 with one or two M/Es and a
complement of licences.
n LDX 86N Series — the camera is able
to capture native HD/3G/4K images. The LDX
86N Series and LDX C86N Compact Series
cameras offer multi-speed and multi-format
options to meet varied programming needs.
n K2 Dyno Universe — for flexible and
scalable HD/4K replay. The K2 Dyno Replay
System supports SD, 10-bit HD, high frame
rate and 4K/UHD.
n GV Node — for real-time IP processing
and routing. This is the first live production-
specific IP aggregation, processing and
edge-routing node.
n iTX On-Demand — for automated
video-on-demand (VoD) publishing. This
solution is ideal for automatic packaging of
content for VoD platforms while content is
still airing live.
n EDIUS 8.5 editing software — it
comes with new features for 4K and HDR
editing. The faster, more dynamic EDIUS 8.5
editing software is able to export, decode
and add metadata in even more formats. The
EDIUS 8.5 demo will include the 4K-ready,
high-performance editing workstation.

broadcast professionals. We are completely
focused on empowering customers to cre-
ate, control and connect content wherever,
however and whenever it is consumed,” says
Somu Patil, VP of Sales, Asia, Grass Valley.
“Content remains the most important
element in this ever-changing media land-
scape. Many of our customers need to create
and support new workflows while continuing
to operate their legacy workflows, simulta-
neously broadcasting through traditional
channels, OTT platforms, VoD, as well as to
tablets, PCs and mobile devices.
“We are here to provide the innova-
tive tools and expertise to help customers
improve the efficiency of their operations
while telling better stories to attract and keep
viewers,” says Patil.
