2. Do research – After answering the right questions, you need to identify a list of jobs which will suits you based on your values, needs, qualities and skills. Imagine you want to become an MBBS doctor, but afraid to see blood; here your want is something, but your quality is not matching. At times your need or want might suggest you a job, but your skills or values may stand against it. It’s important to have a proper alignment. So dig well all the possible options and narrow it down to minimum (3 or 4).

3. Experiment - Once you have narrowed down to few jobs which you are really passionate, it’s time to do the test. The test is by identifying people who are doing excellent in that particular field and observing what all skills do they possess? Do you have all of them? What more skills you need to acquire? Are you ready to invest your time to get those skills? Or do you prefer trying a different option? Also have a look at someone who is not doing great and test yourself with them as well. For example, assume you want to become an advocate and got excellent communication skills; good in debates and public speaking. But if you don’t like to learn ‘law’ subject, its better you opt not to become an advocate. So test each profession and define your own scope of success, based on your interest and willingness.
