Constantly. Being in an industry where you are judged for the music you sing, how you look and what you stand for, it comes with the territory. I’ve learned to tune it out and just keep moving forward and achieve everything I’ve set out to achieve. Success is the sweetest revenge I believe.
Faydee speaking at the Bully Free Australia Foundation You have many dedicated fans, who call themselves the “Faydee Army.” What does the support of your fans mean to you? I can’t describe how much my fans mean to me. They were there when the rest of the world didn’t believe in me. I am inspired and motivated by my fans. They show me so much love and support that without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. That’s a difficult question to answer. It’s honestly though as simple as sharing my music and saying they enjoy it or it’s helped them get through tough times.
You have a large following on Twitter and Facebook. How important is social media for keeping in touch with your fans? It’s not about radio and TV anymore, it’s about how strong is your social media is. Social media is what helped me get to where I am today.
