ACT has attended three winter snowmobile shows across the northeast , digital ads social and Google ads were geofenced around the tradeshow locations . The primary call to action was to have visitors enter a vacation giveaway drawing and to pick up the Official Travel Planner and Northern Maine Snowmobile Trail Map .

ACT staff participate in all MOT mandatory meetings , stakeholder updates , and conversations . ACT prioritizes digital learning from Miles Partnership and has attended the Wabanaki Tourism Initiative at Sugarloaf Mountain in October while enrolling in a three-day tourism marketing conference through Destinations International for February 2025 .

Incomplete grant activity , on schedule . Increased community awareness is a 2024 / 25 goal set by the board and ACT is on track to make this a great year ! ACT will change how it refers to stakeholders to better align with MOT work by calling them ‘ ACT Partners ’. www . visitaroostook . com has a new section of the website called ACT Partners Dashboard . Here ACT Partners may log in to create business , deal , and event listings while also navigating to self-serve tools and resources such as visitation data sets , in-region meetings and workshops , and the marketing plan .
ACT continues to grow its stakeholder email list to move high-quality tools and opportunities out to organizations and businesses in the region on a quarterly basis . ACT staff and board members are actively networking all the time with speaking engagements , and presentations , and being a part of the communities of northern Maine . Our goal is for businesses to realize ACT is a tool they can leverage to grow .
