25,000 Aroostook County Travel Guides will be printed to meet the demand of adding 10 additional distribution locations through Getaways on Display and AAA. This publication is redesigned and published annually. 18,000 St. John Valley / Fish River National Scenic Byway Maps will be printed, a number estimated to last two years without adding additional distribution channels. This publication is redesigned and published as needed. 20,000 + Aroostook County ATV Maps are available for distribution through ACT’ s existing fulfillment channels such as MTA, tradeshows, Airports, Visitor Centers, and in-region lodging. This publication is redesigned and published biannually.
• ACT Partners The businesses, organizations, municipalities, and statewide partners are at the core of ACT. It is their culture, places, and investment that ACT strives to represent in all of our work. ACT is not a membership organization but instead is a tool that seeks to represent all of Maine’ s Aroostook County without discrimination.
Program staff maintain regular office hours and are available in person, by phone, and by email. The Aroostook County Tourism Summit will be held in Southern Aroostook in the spring of 2026 and hopes to create a collaborative conference-style conversation where stakeholders and statewide organizations come together for in-person networking, professional development, and collaboration. ACT maintains a Stakeholder Email List of 1,700 recipients who receive quarterly information of news, grants, MOT and Maine Tourism Association( MTA) programs, and discounted advertising options available to help them grow the industry here.
In 2025 / 26 ACT will host three Coffee and Tourism Chats in three of the four regions of The County. Here ACT will listen to the positive work of the stakeholders and share any tools that can increase their progress. This is intended to be a round table conversation space to talk openly about tourism.
The new VisitAroostook. com features a stakeholders section and press room called ACT Partners. This area displays important ACT, MOT, MTA meeting dates / tools, tourism data, and research, requests for print materials, and the opportunity to create business listings, deal, and event listings
• # VisitAroostook and‘ Best of Aroostook’ Awards ACT will distribute table toppers, coasters, door clings, or lawn signs to 25 restaurants, hotels, or trailheads. The messaging on these designs prominently welcomes visitors to the region, puts wayfinding tools at their fingertips, invites visitors to share their trip with # VisitAroostok, and poles them on their favorite restaurants, places, and trails.
