• Website Development VisitAroostook. com frames the experience of Maine’ s Aroostook County with primary content of Information Hubs, Articles, Special Offers, Events, and Business Listings. Search Engine Optimization is a critical tool for people searching for information to find the exact site they need. ACT will identify an agency to audit and implement a long-term SEO plan to increase the Authority Score of the VisitAroostook. com. This will identify and reduce broken links, add missing meta descriptions, and increase keywords.
The three user-generated content types of Business Listings, Special Offers, and Events are a time-consuming task for ACT staff to upkeep and it is not feasible to add all the listings we envision should be included. Business listings and event listings can utilize AI technology to be listed and updated with marketing tools available in the 2025 digital age. ACT will utilize a POI and Events Calendar listing tool such as ITI Digital to ensure VisitAroostook. com is of the best quality and reflective of the great places to visit here. Digital POI tools will reduce staff time, increase the accuracy of the website, and ensure visitors plan a trip with the new tool.
