• Customer Service ACT maintains a robust level of personalized customer service to potential visitors of Maine’ s Aroostook County. Judy Dinsmore is the real-life travel counselor of ACT and is represented through print advertising as“ Ask Judy what to see and do by calling + 1( 888) 216-2463 or online at VisitAroostook. com”. Judy’ s responsibilities include answering the travel hotline, responding to email inquiries generated from the website and every MPX lead provided by MOT, and packing and shipping fulfillment packets for information. Roughly 50 fulfillment packets are packed / shipped each week and hundreds of phone calls are answered each month. ACT utilizes a variety of digital tools to display and distribute traveler information such as JooMag, Ride with GPS, Maine Trail Finder, and Robly.
ACT is a proud member of the Maine Tourism Association( MTA) and all 11 ACT publications( guidebook, maps, postcards, etc) are available at the eight Maine State Visitor Information Centers. ACT utilizes wall displays in Hampton North and Kittery. ACT will place seasonal floor exhibits to display the guidebook and ATV / Snowmobile Map for differentiated exposure inside the visitor centers to position Aroostook as the leading trail destination in Maine for motorized recreation.
• Content Development ACT relies on a robust digital assets library of photos, video, and written copy to create new content and feed social media. For the 2025 / 26 year ACT will continue its relationship with Paul Cyr Photography for total access to his assets library. New photography will be captured in partnership with Capshore Photography who will focus on the cultures of our downtown areas and accompany the media with written copy for email, social, and website sharing. An add-on cost of Capshore is to facilitate a workshop for up to 25 ACT Partners on how to integrate these new assets into their social media and websites to maximize their usage.
ACT must invest in video to build out the asset library. ACT will open an RFQ for videography work to provide up to 120 minutes of film and six final cut videos to utilize on YouTube, VisitAroostook. com, and to equip partner organizations with fresh and ready content. Final cut videos could be utilized for CTV or YouTube Preroll placement through Hulu / Disney + on their self-serve dashboard in a way that maximizes an ad buy.
ACT will complete 24 new articles for publication on VisitAroostook. com by utilizing staff
