Technique Hoseok primarily specializes in Popping, Boogaloo, and Hip Hop. The timing of pops is crucial, and it sometimes takes months or years to perfect. Popping techniques also take patience and dedication to train, as you’re using muscles that you don’t usually use in everyday life. J-Hope does mainly leg, chest, forearm and tricep pops. You can see pops in a number of BTS stages, but one notable example which belongs to Hoseok alone is his first “Hope on the Street” - those smooth moves are actually pop- ping drills. Boogaloo is an umbrella term for a lot of styles and techniques used in freestyle. It is a style that demands flexibility - physically and creatively.
