Maria Simonyan
APY Vice-President/ EVS Coordinator
We had another fruitful year in APY full of events and greater involvement of young people. APY hosted several international projects in Yerevan, addressing various challenges which require active participation of young people, such as inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities in EVS projects, environmental sustainability, gender equality as well as multiculturalism and living together in diversity. Vast number of young people has contributed their time and energy by choosing to be a volunteer of APY and greatly improved its activities with fresh ideas and enthusiasm. In return, they have got an opportunity to take part in training courses, seminars, youth exchanges all over Europe and beyond organized by partner organizations of APY. The volunteerism was not limited within local activities, but indeed, reached to more than 10 beneficiaries of APY who received life-time opportunity to do European Voluntary Service.

Erik Ghazaryan
APY President
During the last 6 years our team managed to change a lot in our society. I think the recipe is that we started the change from ourselves. Throughout this time we have put efforts to make Armenia better place to live. Through everyday work, step by step, with patience and understanding we improve our community and country. I want to emphasize the importance of the values we share; human rights, tolerance, understanding. We wish all our APY members motivation to become contributors of tomorrow’s society.
