The Fire Department Command vehicle was an original mobile resource for the Library. The opportunity
presented itself to repurpose this asset by transferring ownership to the Fire Department instead of
sending the bus to auction. Through strategic vision, planning, and efficient investments, this vehicle was
repurposed to become the new Fire Department Command Center. Investments included fresh paint,
new tires, emergency lights, redesigned floor plan, communications, six workstations, and updated I.T.
components.
