facilities, fleet, & resources A Apparatus specialist Kendall Kramer FD’s Fleet consists of a combination of apparatus ranging from traditional fire engines, aerial (ladder) trucks, and command vehicles to more specialized vehicles that support Special Operations, Fire Prevention, and Special Events. The average age of the Fire Department fleet is eight years and is valued at more than $17 million. The Fire Resource Supervisor and three assistants manage assets and inventory that include emergency medical supplies, personal protective equipment, rescue tools, grant funded items, and station supplies and appliances.
