Deno Sandz: My ideas come from the flip side of reality, which I call the unreality. The evil and the horrifying part of thought, as well as not creating another writer’s creation.
5. ABMNetwork NY: Out of all of the books that you have written what is your favorite?
Deno Sandz: I consider all of my books great works of horror fiction. However, if I had to choose my favorite. I would pick, “The House of Shangri-La.”
6. ABMNetwork NY: Who if anyone influenced you?
Deno Sandz: There are so many heroes/heroines to name, who have influenced me, but first I must say my mother. She had the gift to write as I have passing it down to me. Langston Hughes; because of his endurance and tenacity to write literature that motivated, educated, and made people laugh with Simple. Maya Angelo, because she was the cornerstone of spirit and emotion when she wrote and spoke, Stephen King because he has the desire to catapult readers into the world of horror fiction, and Socrates because through his mind’s eye he was able to philosophy to create inner thinking readers, writers, and listeners.
7. ABMNetwork NY: Are you currently working on any projects or books?
Deno Sandz: Yes. I will be releasing, “LINEAGE” a horror novella in 2017 as well as “Latitude Longitude” a horror novella. Also, I recently completed a music track and video with TribalRealities ft. Deno Sandz “Halloween Verse” in Italy with music producer Marco Spada. SOUNDCLOUD: tribalrealities/halloween-verse and Youtube: "Halloween Verse" The New Flow of Horror
8. ABMNetwork NY: If you weren’t doing this what would you be doing right now?
Deno Sandz: Probably, going insane. Because writing horror fiction is my life’s blood. Hoping one day movie producers and directors will give me a call to make my books in to feature films. Not to go off base from the question. I would spark more encouragement in the youth today, to follow their dreams.
9. ABMNetwork NY: When you walk down the street in your hometown are you stopped by fans? If so, how do you deal with them?
Deno Sandz: Yes, I’m being stopped more than I have been in previous years and I’m honored. I deal with it humbly. Thanking them for their support and encouragement.
10. ABMNetwork NY: Where do you see yourself in the industry of what you are doing?
Deno Sandz: I consider myself to be a missing link in the chain of horror fiction, that my horror fiction and name will become a reader’s addiction in the realm of this genre.
