1. ABMNetwork NY: When did you know that you wanted to become an author?
Deno Sandz: I’ve been writing since I was old enough to imagine. However, around sixteen years ago I pulled out Miss Mary Weather: A Southern Nightmare that was hand written and said why not type it and submit it. The rest is history.
2. ABMNetwork NY: What made you write in the style you write in?
Deno Sandz: Well, being born in the Alabama. I was intrigued by myths and supernatural stories I heard. But I must say it was my nightmares at a young age that sparked by endeavors to become who I am as a horror novelist.
3. ABMNetwork NY: How do you prepare yourself for writing your books?
Deno Sandz: My preparation starts with an idea that will spark fear in the reader. I’m not a writer that implements the technic of the outline to start writing. I watch the hustle and bustle of the world; taking notes to create a plot, building characters, and situations to already have a beginning, middle, and end prepared before I even begin typing. So simply put: I walk and think, I see and remember, I hear and retain, and then I Visualize, Imagine, and Create which I call (The VIC).
